A flavourless activated charcoal pipe by actiTube, handcrafted in Germany, from Bruyère (briar) wood, which is characterized by its excellent hardness and durability, as well as its extreme heat resistance.
At the same time, this wood, which comes from the root tuber of the tree heath, is sufficiently porous, thus allowing it to efficiently absorb moisture and the condensation produced during smoking. The smoke therefore has a pleasantly dry taste and is less harsh.

With activated carbon filters from actiTube a high proportion of harmful condensates is filtered out of the smoke without compromising the pipe’s performance. The wooden part of the smart pipe is treated only with vegetable oil, not with clear varnish or wood stain, as is usually the case with wooden pipes.
